LiveItUp was founded by Kate Alexander, a nurse with over 40 years of experience in the healthcare system. Throughout her career, she witnessed countless seniors resisting the use of mobility aids — not because they didn’t need them, but because of how those products made them feel. Too often, walkers and frames were seen as symbols of fragility, ageing, or loss of independence. Many chose to go without, risking preventable falls and injuries rather than compromise their dignity.
